she’s black she’s white…

Racheal Dolezal is the NAACP president whose name has been on news for all the wrong reasons, her questionable racial identity, with a good cause in heart she has made a wrong move, posing as someone she isn’t. The prominent civil rights activist has been presenting herself as an African American woman, claiming to be a mix of  Africa, Native America and Europe even going as far as posting an image of herself with a biracial man and claiming him to be her father.

She was confronted during an interview, in regards her so claimed hate mails she had been receiving, the presenter asked her a series of questions during the interview and afterwards showed her a picture asking if the image on it was her fathers’ she confirmed it was, afterwards the presenter asked her if she was African American to which she appeared puzzled didn’t give a direct reply and then walked off. Her parents have claimed that she cut them out because she didn’t want them ruining her image, and that she is is Czech, Swedish and German with only a faint trace of Native American.

James Wilburn a former president of the Spokane NAACP chapter said “..her race was not what qualified her, though its been traditional to have a person of color in that position, it has not always been that way… and that this is probably a result of the fact that only 1.9% of the population in Spokane is African American”

She has been a civil rights activist in Idaho and Eastern Washington for years and also teaches Africana Studies at Eastern Washington University. She has done several good deeds which we hope will speak for her, but her pretending to be who she isn’t is what has the world talking about her.

Truth is, whatever is hidden will soon come to light it is often best to be who you are, and do what you love, everything else will fall into place. You have no reasons to pretend to be what you are not.
