The forty-fifth edition of the Mrs. Universe Pageant has kicked off in Sofia, Bulgaria. Delegates from all over the world are in attendance to vie for the coveted crown. There are ninety-nine contestants in all.

The program will run from the 30th of January to the fifth of February. The grand finale of the event is on the evening of the 4th of February 2023. The delegates are expected to leave for their various countries on the fifth of February.

The contestants arrived on the 30th of January 2023. From the 31st of January to the 2nd of February, they will be having tours and visits to chosen destinations. The 3rd of February is for National Costume competition and special awards night.

4th February is the national costume round again and evening gown rounds. And selection of top 25, top 5 and of course the winner of the pageant.

The Arab world has three contestants, while Africa has two. Two from the Caribbean and the rest are from Europe, the Americas and Asia.
