PAULINE KEDEM TALLEN: FIRST EVER ELECTED FEMALE DEPUTY GOVERNOR IN NORTHERN NIGERIA (2007-2011)

Pauline kedem TALLEN was born on the eighth day of January 1959. She holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Jos , Plateau state of Nigeria, which she attained in 1982.

Her political career began in 1976 in her local government area. She joined her husband in politics since 1999 when democracy resumed in Nigeria. She was made Minister of State for Science and Technology.

She later became deputy governor in 2007 and she is presently the Minister of Women Affairs. An office she resumed in 2019.
