Stunning Chelsea Manalo has made history as the first ever Miss Universe Philipines of African descent. This tall, refreshing glass of chocolate will represent Phillipines at the Miss Universe international beauty pageant coming up in Mexico. It is an exciting, unexpected change in the history of Philippines.

First of all, Chelsea is a model. Her life as a model began when she was age fourteen. She actually took part in Miss World Phillipines pageant in 2017 and placed in the top 15. Today she is MUP ’24.

Stunning Chelsea Manalo also has a bachelor’s in Tourism and is the brand ambassador for Bench clothing brand in the Philippines. Today Chelsea has made history not just for Phillipines but for the whole world. She has opened new doors for future generations of dark women in all of Asia.

Actually born Chelsea Anne Manalo to an African American father and Filipino mother in Bulacan, she suffered a huge dose of racial discrimination most of her life. It was so bad that even watchers of this competition described her as the dark horse of the competition.

Stunning Chelsea Manalo was raised by her mother and stepdad. After her win, she could not stop weeping for joy and gratitude in the arms of her mother and adopted father. She declared that without them, she would not have made it thus far.
