After twenty-five years away from the Miss Universe contest, Bonaire will be at the international pageant in November 2024. And Ruby Pouchet is the chosen representative for this feat.

Actually, Ruby Pouchet was at Miss Grand International 2023, which took place in Vietnam. Though she was unplaced, she gave a good report of herself. Therefore, the Miss Bonaire organization decided to entrust her with the responsibility of winning the Miss Universe title.

Let us meet MUB ’24

Ruby Pouchet of Bonaire is a graduate of the University of Houston. She studied advertising there and was certified in 2019. Born in 1996, Miss Universe Bonaire is five feet ten inches tall. Also familiar with the pageant stage, Ruby won Miss Bonaire 2022. Going on to be the very first Miss Grand Bonaire in 2023.

Where is Bonaire?

Bonaire is a beautiful Caribbean Island which we can say belongs to the Netherlands. Most of the citizens are Africans, followed by a mixed race of Europeans and Africans. Of course their neighbours like Venezuela, Suriname and Colombia are part of their population. By the way, nothing can separate Caribbeans and their carnivals. Check this out.

Although Bonaire has taken part in the Miss Universe competition up to ten times, they have been unplaced. However, their hopes are high this time around with the advertising expert as their ambassador.
