Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024, the elegant and stunning Sakhile Dube was simply amazing in Mexico. From the sashing event, to the swimsuit competition, the preliminary events, national costume, evening gown, she was incredible. So much so that she was one of the world favourites. In fact, she kept appearing on the prediction charts as one of the finalists. That is how great she was.
Well, considering Sakhile’s experience in pageantry, we did not expect less from her. Of course, she did not disappoint we her fans. Though we have featured Sakhile here a few times, allow us boast about her pageant prowess.
Pageant Victories
To begin with, Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024, Sakhile Zibusiso Dube won her first crown in a local pageant in 2015, when she was eighteen years old. Fired on by this success, she got into fashion modelling and won Face of Zimbabwe Fashion Week in 2018. Then she went international in 2019 because she was in Cairo for the Miss Africa International Pageant. Though she was unplaced, she acquired plenty of experience from this outing.
Again in 2020, Sakhile became Miss Tourism Zimbabwe but the COVID-19 scourge restricted everyone to their home country. Undeterred, she represented Zimbabwe at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant, winning a place in the Top 8 spot, amongst other awards.
Again in 2023, Dube was in Poland for Miss Supranational International, again getting a spot in the Top 25 and the Miss Supranational Africa 2023 title. And now only seventy-two hours ago, she dazzled at Miss Universe 2024 in the midst of one hundred and twenty-five other beauties. The world was so impressed with her performance through out the pageant that they were shocked that she did not get to the finals.
Other Victories
Though Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024 is busy with pageants, she is also a successful model and a media personality. In addition, Ms. Zibusiso Dube has a foundation that caters for orphans. The young queen has her hands full with all these activities from such a young age. Till now at barely, twenty-eight years old, she is still rearing to go. Where does she get all that energy?
We are proud of Miss Dube because she is an inspiration to the girl-child and ladies all over the world. We look forward to seeing more of her in future.
