Oreime CAYCEE MBOYA OF NAIROBI

Caycee Mboya of Nairobi AKA Lupita Nyakisumo is the tallest woman in Nairobi who calls herself Street Model. And she said she prefers walking the streets because the runway is not broad enough. She models for fashion houses all over Kenya. Caycee also got an invite for a show in Seattle, Washington.

Her Story:-

Caycee Mboya of Nairobi is six feet five inches tall. When she became popular, she adopted Lupita Nyakisumo as her stage name. Mboya said from her teen age, everyone she met said she looked a lot like the Oscar-winning Lupita Nyongo. Coincidentally, she had never heard of her till then.

So after looking up Lupita, Caycee liked her reputation and adopted her name. Also, on account of her height, someone invited her to a fashion show. This is how her modelling career began. However, it has not been all roses. Hers is a touching story which we are privileged to share.

Caycee Mboya of Nairobi lost her mother when she was an infant and her father, when she was only ten years old. She was just in standard five when he passed away, turning her into an orphan. And from that time, her grandmother and other relatives became her custodians.

However, one day after completing her secondary school, Caycee ran away from her relatives. As far as she was concerned, she had had done enough.

And so, Caycee made straight for a recording studio, because she could also sing. Unfortunately, after a few nights sleeping there, she was told to move on because that was a business place. And of course her presence there was disturbing business and so she moved out. Getting another place was hard till she found a job waiting at tables.

Though the salary was meagre, the job came with a place to sleep so Ms. Mboya did not mind. To make more money, she offered laundry services to homes. In the midst of all this, Caycee got certified from the school of journalism. Now, she sings at gigs, models and no longer waits at tables.
