Miss Universe drama continues with the reigning Miss Universe Kenya’s resignation yesterday. Irene Ng’endo Mukii did not give any specific reason for her action. So, everyone is left to guess at the reason she has resigned. The software engineer simply stated that she has decided to terminate the relationship after deep consideration.

Irene Ng’endo Mukii is not the first Miss Universe title holder to step down. However, the title itself has had drama trailing it in the past two years. Going from the Italian LGBT community which staged a protest against women in Miss Universe Italy 2023 to limitless participation. Then from citizenship online brawls to contestants’ expulsion.
Considering all the Miss Universe drama, it has been quite a handful for the current organizers. And how they are able to keep it together and remain cool-headed, deserves an award.
Meet Irene Mukii :-
Miss Universe Kenya is twenty-six years old and is five feet eight inches tall. She has won several beauty titles since she was nineteen years old. From Kenya to Miss Africa Calabar at age twenty. Then Miss and. All this time, this beauty was getting trained to be a software engineer, a degree she earned before she turned twenty-five. So this queen is a true combination of beauty and brains.
However, we did not get a chance to get a deeper peep into the mind of this gem of a woman. And now, barely two weeks after choosing a new Miss Universe, she wants out. Not want, she is out and no real reason was given to us her fans for her exit.
To close this write-up, it has been twenty-four hours since Ms. Mukii dropped her resignation letter on her Instagram account. Yet, the Miss Universe Kenya organization is quiet. Hopefully, we all will get a download of what is going on before the next week is over.
Meanwhile, when these ladies drop out suddenly from the pageant and the responsibilities, do they get any penalties? Do they get to return their gifts? Or do they get to pay back a certain percentage?
