We are celebrating Miss Universe Kosovo 2024, Edona Bajrami today. Because though she was injured during the M*U pageant, she remained to cheer her queen sisters to victory. And that, people is what pageants is about – supporting one another.

Therefore to appreciate Edona’s efforts and her support, on the day of the finale, the M*U organization honoured her. The host not only complimented and announced her presence, she was also gifted a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Why Edona stepped down:-

The feast of the dead is a national festival in Mexico and the pageant period fell into it. It was therefore necessary for all the contestants to partake in the ceremony. By the way, the ceremony is like All Saints Day when Catholics remember all their departed loved ones. Coincidentally, the contestants are expected to be dressed up to the nines, all the time. And that includes being in high heels all day long unless of course, there’s a barefoot event. Poor Ms. Bajrami sprained her ankle during the ceremony and replaced her stilettos with a cast.

We are also celebrating Miss Universe Kosovo 2024, Edona because she initiated and is running an agricultural initiative. In addition, she is empowering women in Kosovo by sponsorship. She said coming from a place of strength, Kosovars never give up.

Thus to demonstrate the Kosovar spirit, Edona stayed to the end of the competition. She even posed with the cast shortly after it was put on her as you can see from her pose among the orange, marigolds.
