AFRICAN AMAZONS @ MISS WORLD 2025

African amazons at Miss World 2025. Yes sir! We are still on about the African queens who will storm the global stage in some weeks’ to come. They are truly worthy ambassadors who are showing off the brains, beauty, culture and wealth of African nations. Therefore again in no particular order, we celebrate these four stunners from Africa and beyond.

Our Queens :-

Starting off today’s celebration is Christee Guirand from Haiti. She is a double ambassador. First she is an ambassador for her country at the coming Miss World pageant and an ambassador for FHACI. Haiti Foundation for International Art and Culture (FHACI) is a nonprofit organization that helps care for children with cancer in Haiti.

Aside this assignment, Christee holds a degree in Administration Sciences. And she is twenty-four years old, five feet eight inches tall, passionate about serving her community.

Our next Amazon is model Courtney Jongwe of Zimbabwe, who is twenty-three years old. She was crowned Miss World Zimbabwe last December, 2024. Now check out this typical warrior. Her leadership skills date back to high school, where she was the Head Girl in 2019.

And she is now Vice-President of the Students’ Representative Council, Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences, Zimbabwe. A school where Courtney is in year five of Chemical and Processing Engineering. Expected. Zimbabwe being the country with the largest number of learned people in Africa, behind two others.

One more crucial information about this African amazon @ Miss World 2025 is this. She made it to the semis of Miss Earth 2023. Yup! She was in the Top 20 of that pageant in Vietnam out of 85 contestants.

Coming right after her is Amazon Cyria Temagnombe, who is also aged 23 and is from Madagascar. Cyria Olivine Temagnombe is a student of Entrepreneurship. She is from the largest island in the world, being as big as a combination of Germany, United Kingdom and France.

In closing today’s series on African Amazons @ Miss World 2025 is Tahje Bennett from Jamaica. First,Tahje is a serial pageant winner who was Top three at Miss Universe Jamaica 2022. Then Miss Law 2021/22 and now Miss World Jamaica.

Apart from pageants, Ms Bennett is a lawyer who is focused on uplifting girls and defending women suffering gender-based violence. She believes your struggles do not have to define you.
