Congratulations Queen Rihanna for the victory of your partner and family in the case of a two-count firearm assault. When the judge read out the not guilty verdict, we were wild with joy and relief. We are truly thankful to God as Rakim Mayers aka Rocky Asap, has said. “Thank God for saving my life.” If the verdict was guilty, he would have gone to jail for twenty-four years!

For many of us, it was a case of Africans and the rest. Our hearts were in our mouths throughout the trial. We have grown to love Queen Rihanna’s cute family because we have been with her since her “Umbrella” song. From Chris Brown to Drake and finally Rocky. And then their adorable, precious sons.

So even as we say congratulations Queen Rihanna, we have popped champagne to celebrate this victory. Not guilty, music to our ears. For many of us, we would take a peek , pray and ponder about how far the young family has come.

Best of all, African Queen Rihanna was calm and cool as cucumber. That is Rihanna. Wise, taciturn and delibrate. No press conferences, no slips of the tongue, no unguarded moments, nothing. That is the basic and most treasured behavior of a true queen.

Lastly, we celebrate their wedding ceremony in advance. And we are fine with it being a private affair. If however, they have already done a private ceremony, we celebrate them still.

Keep the love going strong. Nobody said it was going to be easy. But it can be really sweet like old wine when you hold on to each other all your lives. We are rooting for you and looking up to you.
