Selma Kamanya who was Miss Universe Namibia 2018 is Miss World Namibia 2025. The change of candidates began as rumours in February 2025 and became a reality in April 2025. She was selected because of some strict rules by Miss World Organization.

Selma Kamanya who became the Miss World 2025 was first Miss Universe Namibia 2018 and represented Namibia in Thailand in the same year but she was unplaced. Meanwhile, the lady she is replacing was Albertina Hiambala who was first runner-up Miss World 2024.

Selma, MU Namibia 2018 is Miss World 2025 even though she represented Namibia at Miss in Thailand. Aged 19 years old at the time she won the title, Selma became a full time model. .

Selma is also a student of Economics at Namibia University. Standing at five feet nine inches, Ms Kamanya was born on the last day of the last month of the year 1996.
