She has been able to combine acting and schooling and received degrees and certifications and excel at acting.

She was first Miss Aggrey in secondary school. After high school, she became a model In 2005, she took part in Miss Ghana pageant and won the Miss Photogenic award. The award birthed a two year contract with Maxim Cosmetics. She continued into acting and her first stint came in and television series, ‘Fortune Island’. She played her first lead role in the movie, ‘Princess Tyra’ in 2007.

Since then, Yvonne has featured in many movies before going higher to be a movie producer.
