Her middle name Era becomes her. In an era when skin colour was a hindrance. When women were snubbed. From a neighbourhood where drugs and other vices were rife, this great woman rose and made a mighty difference.

She spent the rest of her life teaching other doctors and carrying out surgeries all over the world. She passed away in May 2019.

She said her personal best moment was when she restored the sight of a woman who had been blind for thirty years.
