The Miss Grand International Pageant has come and gone. We have however, not celebrated Queen Dammy our flag bearer at MGI 2022 enough.

Her national costume not only caught the eyes of many at the event, it made it to the top four costumes of over eighty contestants from all over the world.

The outfit was not only colourful, it was a combination of raffia, cowries, beads, leather, small gourds of calabash, tiny bells, decorative knives and cotton fabric; intricately put together to please the sight.
