Shudu-Gram the first digital model in the world, was created in April 2017 by a self-taught British photographer; Cameron-James Wilson.

He said he created Shudu because the beauty he perceived was not evident and wanted a realization of what he truly desired. Controversy arose from the creation because he has a different skin tone. He is accused of making it more difficult for models with deep- dark skin tones to get modelling jobs.

Since then, Shudugram has gone viral as a virtual influencer. One time, an icon like Tyra Banks actually featured her because she thought she was real.
