Mary Onyali won medals in the Olympics from 1988 to 2004. She also won several medals in the Commonwealth Games. She is the first Nigerian to perform at and win in six international games and winning in all.
Mary Onyeali retired in 2004 to care for her young family. She is back in Nigeria giving a hand in the sports ministry.
