$65.26 FINE FOR BEAUTY QUEEN’S DEATH

Meanwhile in Nigeria , Dr. Anu Adepoju whose cosmetic surgery killed a beauty queen, Nneka Miriam in 2019, is to pay a fine of $65.26. This slap on the wrist sentence has shocked the pageant world.

The deceased, Nneka Miriam Onwuzuligbo aka Sparkle, won the title Face of Democracy in Nigeria back in 2013. Then in December 2018, she was at the cosmetic clinic of Dr. Anuoluwapo Adepoju for a gluteal augmentation.

Unfortunately, fat got into her lungs and Miriam slid into a coma from which she passed away. Thus, shocking her country and causing a prominent politician in the country to demand an explanation.

Now, after dragging the case for five years, the life of Nneka Miriam Onwuzuligbo was worth only an optional fine of $65.26¢. This beauty queen’s death and subsequent slap on the wrist judgement has left her friends, relatives and the pageant world of Nigeria aghast.

Meanwhile, a previous victim of Dr. Anu Ms Motola Taiwo said in an interview with BBC News, said she suffered fat necrosis and was suicidal after Dr. Adepoju’s surgery on her.
