Akysanna Viega won Miss International Africa 2024, and got placed at the event, even after several years away. Getting placed in Miss International is a very big deal. Yet, Cape Verde, a returnee country pulled it off. She got two awards; the title of Miss International Africa and the Top 20 list.

Cape Verde still won the title of Miss International Africa 2024, though they were absent for quite sometime. Akysanna Da Viega made this outing count like their Miss Earth Jasmine Jorgensen did. Akysanna was so amazing, so impressive that it was so right that she received this title.

Now, no offense but there was enough hype about the Nigerian favourite. But Akysanna’s worth, her quiet and calm demeanor were scoring points. So the combination of interviews, national costume, gala night, relationship with other queen sisters even staff added to her scores.

In closing, note that Cape Verde won the title of Miss International Africa after ten African countries Miss International 2024 withdrew from the pageant. Fortunately, the others who soldiered on gave a good report of themselves. From these, we made the Top 20 giving us the victory and uplifting we truly appreciate.
