How to be an amazing “mompreneur”!

Motherhood still remains one of the most beautiful gift life has to offer for every woman. The joy, commitment and sacrifice this role comes with is one that leaves you satiated and yet on your toes. A lot of other things still needs to be attended to and one of it most definitely includes your job. Trust me, I understand how daunting it is to balance your job or business and a baby. You and I should be among the set of people to accept the fact that a “perfect mom” doesn’t actually exist!

It takes a lot to conquer the challenges and hurdles that comes with juggling a job and a baby. Here’s why we have highlighted some set of little known tricks to help you be a pro!

The golden rules to being an amazing mompreneur.

1. You deserve the rest! Don’t shy away from it.

New mothers tend to override themselves on getting adequate rest. I really cannot stop laying emphasis on this- there’s no such thing as being selfish to get your rest. Please bury that guilt that pushes you into overwhelming yourself with chores and other things included. A fully rested body and mind is prone to carrying out tasks efficiently.

2. Having a daily plan is never outdated!

I bet you can almost taste the bliss that comes with finishing your daily task and right on time! Yeah, that’s the gift a daily plan offers you. Write down your tasks and goals for the day in the order of their importance and stick to it. It is easier to have a guide of what you intend to achieve for that day, it helps your routine fall in place.

3. Get all the help you need!

In as much as you want to be a pro at this, you need to understand that it’ll be draining to do it all alone. Let your spouse, family or friends assist you with the baby while you get your job done. Once your little one is clean, fed and comfortable you can hand them over to your trusted aid while you continue with other things. Don’t hesitate to get some specialized beds or toys to help keep your baby busy while you’re on and about with your business.

4. Eat right and healthy!

While junks might be a comfort, overindulging in them will do more harm than good. I’ll recommend you get healthy supplements to boost your energy and give you the right nutrients to get by. Stick to a healthy diet and eat on time. Trust me, you’ll need that energy!

5. Join or follow a community of mompreneurs.

Getting advices as well as experiences from others will be an added benefit for you and your mental health. Watching others do it and share their experiences gives you a sense of belonging that you’re also bound to do it right.

Until next time dear reader…
