Miss Gambia Beauty Pageant is returning. Finally, the Gambian Ministry of Tourism has restored the Miss Gambia Beauty Pageant after many years of inactivity. Over twenty years actually. The grand finale will come up at the Kairaba Beach Hotel in Banjul on the 30th of December in Banjul.

The qualifications to partake in the contest is to be aged between 17-27 years old, be beautiful, be smart, be intelligent and be a citizen of Gambia.

The government ministry is in partnership with the Association of Fashion Designers of Gambia for a successful event. Madam Ida Saine -Konte the spokesperson for the body, has said that the contestants have been selected with the future of Gambia in mind. She appealed for more support from stakeholders to make the event a huge success.
