And so OECS chose a queen in Dominica, on the fifth of November. Police Constable Keriann Thomas won the title of Miss OECS 2022 Beauty Pageant. Seven beautiful ladies who come from Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada and Dominica, battled for the title.

The theme of the pageant was ‘a tropical utopia’ and the contestants displayed the culture of their different countries.

Miss OECS 2022 is not just a police constable with the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, she is a veteran of pageants. She was part of Miss Show Off in her home country in 2018. She also recently won the 2022 Police Week Queen’s Pageant. The 21-year-old also won Best Creative Costume, Best Swimwear and Best Evening Gown of this event.

My favourite was Miss St. Lucia , Kejean Tori Smith, a teacher and a future lawyer. She was the first runner-up.
