Kenya’s young, long distance runner set a new women record for ten thousand kilometers race last week Sunday the 10th of December 2023. She made the distance in an incredible time of 29 minutes 24 seconds only. She also broke the five kilometers record.

The former record was for thirty minutes and one second. Agnes’ record is the third highest in the world, for women.

Agnes Ngetich is twenty-two years old. She went professional four years ago when she was eighteen years old. She is here to stay. Go Agnes, go!
