ARETHA LOUISE FRANKLIN FIRST WOMAN INDUCTED INTO ROCK ‘N’ ROLL HALL OF FAME

Aretha Franklin’s voice was declared a natural resource of her state, Michigan in the United States of America in 1985. In 1987, she became the first woman in the whole world to be inducted into the Rock’n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

Again, she became the second woman in the world to be inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005.

Ms. Franklin has fifteen honorary degrees from several prestigious schools like Princeton, Yale, Harvard, NYU, to mention a few.

She passed away in 2018.
