We are still discussing possible interview questions at beauty pageants. This is because poorly answered questions lead to indoor screening out of contestants. That means such contestants lose the chance to win the title.

This interview stage makes it easier for judges to choose winners. It will happen during the three international pageants holding their finale in the next three days. Starting from today Friday 17th November to Sunday 19th November 2023.

Miss Globe is happening right now in Albania. Miss Universe will take place tomorrow in El Salvador and Miss Planet will take place on the 19th in Cambodia.

Beauty pageants always have large entries. And the interview session certainly screens out the crowd, bringing out the best of the lot. Pageant judges all over the world, always get to do this.

Interview questions may vary. The general idea is the same. To find out what the contestants know and how well they can express themselves and represent the brand.

The questions may be about your family members, you, other genders, dignity of labour, world poverty, food, politics or conflict resolution. Anything. Just be ready.

•What is their group strength or weakness?

•What makes you special?

•Why do you need to do any kind of rehearsals to win a pageant?

•What is the current effect of pageants on the society compared to when pageants began over sixty years ago?

•What is expected of a beauty pageant title holder?

•Would you say this pageant is more embracing now than it was when it started decades ago? Explain.

•What will you do differently if you win?

•Given the changes in the world regarding genders,  can we still say that beauty pageants feature naturally born women?

•What are your thoughts concerning children younger than sixteen in the social media space?

•Do young people really spend too much time on social media? Or on the internet?  

A major key to many pageant interviews is being up to date about world affairs. Also answer as honestly as possible. Finally, be confident. Then you can make it to at least the semi-finals.
