Chermila is a stunning Indian beauty and French fashion model. She is five feet six inches tall and is making waves in the French modelling space.

In addition to modelling, Chermila is an activist. Against the grains of traditional India where being a model is scorned, the twenty-two year old stunner is forging ahead. The young lady is labelled a rebel as she keeps breaking down the cultural practices holding her people down.

What Does Chermila Want?

The model simply known as Chermila wants to be identified as the voice of freedom, the voice of courage, the voice of choice. To be seen as the Amazon charting the path of seeming impossibilities for future generations.

Therefore believing that this lone quest of hers is the needed sacrifice for a brand new race of emancipated Indians.

In particular, on this page, we celebrate women who have dark skin tones from all over the world because they are not celebrated enough. We should blow our own trumpets.

And so this week, we celebrate Indian black beauties who are body-shamed because of the colour of their skin. The few we shall highlight are the few who have come into the limelight. They represent the millions in India who are biased against and can not cry out.
