On Friday the first day of March 2024, Iris Apfel, passed away. She was a self proclaimed world oldest teenager. Iris was a model , fashion designer, interior designer and successful business woman.

Ms Apfel had design restoration projects with the American White House for over twenty years. Her service began with Harry Truman and ended with Bill Clinton. She served a total of nine American presidents.

Also, Mrs. Apfel was a fashion icon. She even had a modelling contract at age ninety-seven. Mrs. Apfel’s outfits do look like teen outfits, but you know what? She bore them well considering her age.

Iris was married to her late husband and business partner for sixty-seven years. They actually became successful business partners two years after marriage and for forty years of their married lives.

Again, Iris was very active on social media and had over three million followers on Instagram. In her December 18th 2023 post, she humorously said she might take flight if she adds another feather to the feather style outfit she had on.

And true to her word, our beloved oldest teenager has taken flight after an exciting one hundred and two years on earth. She travelled the world as she explored and enjoyed the world of modelling, textiles and fashion.
