Jessika Emrit the first ever Miss Eco T&T, gave a great account of herself at the Talent competition of Eco International 2024 by making Top 10 at the event. She played the steel pan with practised ease and expertise. Jess also made top twenty national costume for the event. Good job queen.

The sonorous, Calypso sound of the steel pan Jess played, got many nodding their heads and swinging their hips. Who really is Jessika Emrit?

First, two things you should know about Miss Trinidad and Tobago. She is not only the first Miss Eco Trinidad and Tobago, Jess is also the first in a long while to make the twin country proud. How? By displaying the rare talent of beating the steel pan. A dexterity seemingly reserved for men alone.

The novelty and expertise of this queen can not be ignored. By the way, her family was rooting for her along with all the country. Her uncle Dexter actually asked for support for his beloved niece on LinkedIn three days before the crowning night.

Later at the grand finale of the event, if you noticed, Jessika seemed to strut to the beat of the steel pan in her blazing red and gold national outfit. What are we saying? Those strides of hers are expected of the model that she is of course.
