It is exciting to catch up with all the pageants going on and coming up all over the world. The three big international pageants, Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Earth are coming up in November and December 2023. Others are Miss Grand International, Miss International, Mrs. World, Miss Tourism, Mrs Globe and the recently concluded Mrs. Universe 2023 which took place in Manila, Philippines.

Africans are pulling their weight in all the pageants.

We embrace them as Africans not only because they are from African countries or their roots can be traced to Africa but also sadly because of their skin tones. We have been shaken, shoved into reality when we leave our comfort zones, by people who think that having different skin tones make them superior.
