INVENTOR MARY KENNER

Mary Kenner was a beautiful woman who was born into a family of inventors. Her grandfather, father and sister were also inventors. She invented many items. Most notable is the sanitary belt which she invented in 1954. The sanitary belt helped to hold the pad in place. This belt was used till the seventies when it was replaced by adhesive pads.

She also invented the bathroom tissue holder and the carrier attachment to a walker. She made the hanging backwasher. And got patents for them all in the 1980s.

Mary Kenner was a florist when she was not creating things. She had four shops of flowers all over Washington DC. She loved life.
