WHO’S 1ST MISS EARTH FROM AFRICA?

Winfred Adah Omwakwe of Kenya became the first ever African Miss Earth in 2002. She is also the first and only Kenyan woman to ever win an international beauty pageant so far. Hopefully, she will get a successor soon.

At the second edition of the international pageant which took place in Philippines, Miss Earth Bosnia and Herzegovina was the crowned winner with Miss Earth Kenya as the first runner-up. However, the organizers of the contest accused her of contract breaching and Winfred of Nairobi Kenya, replaced her.

Standing at five feet nine inches tall, Miss Earth Kenya 2002 was born on the first day of January 1981. Sadly, Adah became orphaned when she was only ten years old. Her older brother and sister rose up to the occasion as parents of their baby sister Winfred. She holds a degree in healthcare and a masters degree in public relations.

In the past years, Miss Earth 2002, Adah has been public shy. To the extent that is at a time, people sprang an evil rumour about her existence, which her publicist refuted. The public is assured that she is doing great and is working as a physiotherapist.

We wish her continuous success in all she does. Please drop a heart for her in the comments section below.
