TOBI “EXPRESS” AMUSAN AGAIN!

Oluwatobiloba Amusan of Africa, also known as Tobi Express broke a 25 years old record in Astana, Kazakhstan last week. She won the 60m hurdles at the record time of 7.77s at the World Indoor Tour 2024. Setting a new African record.

Tobi came to limelight when she broke the world record for 100m hurdles in 2022. She set a record of 12.12 seconds and became the toast of the world. Every African woman is inspired by the young Tobi.

Tests

However, Tobi Amusan suffered a little hitch last year when an anti-dope board delayed the results of the drug tests she took. Oluwatobiloba missed a crucial game while waiting for the results. Causing her country men some anxiety. The results finally came out negative and she was free to compete.

Unfortunately, she did poorly in the outing just after the clearance. She finished seventh in the race. Her record however, was not broken. Was this delay a ploy to disorient the African star? Do share your opinion in the comments section below.

Success

Since then though, Oluwatobiloba has been on a winning streak. The most current is this record broken in Astana, Kazakhstan. Hopefully, she will win a gold medal for her country at the Olympics Games coming up in France this year 2024.

Lesson for us is never give and keep pressing forward no matter what. Yes, we hear this lesson all the time. It is a tested fact and the only way to go. Press on towards the mark because it can only get better.
