AFRICAN QUEENS @ MISS WORLD 2022/3

It is time to have a peek at the African queens gracing Miss World Pageant 2022/3 taking place in India as we speak. These ebony beauties also hope to bring the crown home to Africa.

Before we take individual peeks, let us remind ourselves of who we should be rooting for during the three weeks long program. Some of the queens are listed below.

In no particular order, presenting to you Fatou L’eau of Senegal, Ada Eme from Nigeria, Sonia Aït Mansour from Morocco, Miriam Xorlasi from Ghana, Makia Bamba from Guinea, Claude Mashego of South Africa. And debutante Miss World Togo, ladies and gentlemen.

We also have Veralyn Vonleh from Liberia, Rgat Afewerki of Ethiopia, Arek Abraham Albino of South Sudan. The list is not exhausted yet. However, let us share a little about these listed queens.

First, Ada Eme of Nigeria is studying conflict resolution. She was part of the twenty top models at the ongoing Miss World Pageant.

Also, Miriam Xorlasi from Ghana a language teacher, made it to the twenty top models of the pageant. She is passionate about the education of children with disabilities.

Next is Morocco. Now she can’tis special because this is the first time Morocco is partaking in the Miss World Pageant since 1968. That is about fifty-six years ago. Meanwhile, Sonia Mansour of Morocco has represented France in several international beauty pageants since 2016.

In fact, Ms. Mansour actually won an international pageant in 2022 at Miss World Noble Queen pageant and won. Again she represented France in 2022 Miss Supermodel World wide and was third runner-up.

Is she formidable or what? A strong contender right? The global pageant stage is her home.

Finally for today is another special candidate who is from South Africa. Well, South Africa has always been present at Miss World since inception. That is not what makes her special. Miss Claude Mashego of South Africa is special because she is a doctor, made Top 23 of Miss Talent and she made top twenty of the Top Model award at the ongoing Miss World Pageant.

Dr. Mashego is a trained medical doctor from the prestigious University of Pretoria. She graduated three years ago. Mashego is particular about self care. If you can take good care of yourself, you are an asset to your nation.

And so we will stop here today and hopefully continue tomorrow. Then complete the series on African Queens on Monday. They are over twenty-six of them to nose into.

Which one of these queens is the most impressive when we consider the theme of this pageant, ” beauty with a purpose?” Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.
