AFRICANS @ MISS WORLD 2022/3 (4)

We are still taking time out to celebrate the dazzling Africans at Miss World Pageant 2022/23 is a task we must complete. If we do not celebrate ours, who will?

Therefore, let us give a shout out to the attorney in the house, people. Lesogo Chombo of Botswana. She won the first challenge, the head to head challenge, made top five Miss World Top Model and made top fourteen of Miss Talent, the second of two Africans in that winning group.

Myléne Djihony of Cote D’Ivoire is set to do better than Ms Olivia Yace who was second runner-up at Miss World 2021. Well, seeing that her country just won the African Cup of Nations title, another international title is very welcome.

Lesogo is not at the pageant to joke at all. She also won the award for her Beauty with purpose project. She is garnering juicy awards. Ms. Chombo seems exciting and plenty of fun, don’t you agree? We are wishing her the very best at the pageant.

Myléne is also a graduate of Marketing and Communication and a model.

The next queen we are taking a peek at is Hannah Karema  Tumukunde from Uganda. She has also won an award at this ongoing Miss World Pageant of February/March 2024- Beauty with Purpose projects.

She is one of the top ten winners of projects that have to do with Beauty with Purpose. Hannah is still an undergraduate.

And from Tanzania, we present Halima Ahmad Kopwe. She also one of the top ten queens with the best Beauty with Purpose projects. Her project is on reducing infant and mother mortality rate.

Finally, Daisy Princess Mujeh Abdullah from Sierra Leone closes this episode of African Queens at Miss World Pageant 2022/3.

However, this does not close the series yet. Daisy Princess is more enchanting than a daisy flower. Daisy has several pageant titles under her belt because she has been on pageant stage since she was eight years old.

Also, Princess is a final year student of Chemistry at the prestigious and ancient Fourah Bay College. And she is the vice-president of the school’s Chemistry society.

Are these ladies not exciting? True examples of Beauty and Purpose. Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.
