AFRICAN QUEENS @ MISS WORLD 2022/3 (finale)

Welcome to the final episode of the series of African queens who are contesting in Miss World 2022/3 pageant. Thank you for staying with us till this last episode. In each post one can find out a thing or two about their favourite contestant.

Meet Kwamboka Chantou of Kenya, a medical bio-technologist from Maseno University in Kenya. Kwamboka is also a professional violinist and model.

Next is Nokutenda Shekina Marumbwa representing Zimbabwe at the Miss World 2022/3 holding in India. Nokutenda is into beautifying people as a nail technician and makeup artist.

This very confident young lady, Nokutenda put her country on the map by winning the very first challenge of the prestigious pageant. She is passionate about food and nutrition for everyone.

Coming up next is Bahja Mohamoud of Somalia. She is passionate about Healthcare. She has launched the first ever telehealth clinic in Somalia, so that more people can be better informed about healthcare.

Following after is Poelano Mothisi of Lesotho. Poelano’s pageant career began in 2016 when she was crowned Miss Machabeng. Her passion is to empower girls’ mental health through menstrual health .

Another queen is Mirla Ferreira Dabo from Guinea Bissau. She is a student of Computer Engineering at the Bissau Management & Technology School. She hopes to graduate as a Global Designer.

Mirla is not new to pageantry. At age eleven, she won the Miss Children competition. Again at fourteen and fifteen, she was in two different beauty contests. In 2016 she won Miss Current Affairs. Mirla runs one of the top fashion agencies in her country.

Ms. Ferriera Dabo is a crusader against FGM.

Finally, we close this series with Miss World Tunisia Imem Mehzri overall winner of the Miss Talent award at the pageant. She is the second African in the list of talent winners.

Imem loves singing, Imem sings. This pageant gave her the much needed opportunity to share her talent with the world. And everyone of us was indeed blown away.

We can almost stake on the crown coming to Africa or the Caribbean with these brilliant and amazing women representing us in this very competitive pageant. Do you agree? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.
