AFRICAN WOMEN ON OSCAR’S RED CARPET

The Oscars was as exciting as ever, with beautiful African women gracing the occasion on Sunday the tenth day of March 2024. We celebrate the strength of these African queens inspite of the challenges they face every day. Their resilience tells us that we can excel too.

So the first Red Carpet walker to catch our attention, is Cynthia Erivo. This lady has achieved quite a bunch in less than ten years after she became active in the British entertainment scene; first as a singer and now an actress.

Ever radiant Regina King , multiple award winner is a regular face on the oscar red carpet. She is a true inspiration to many. And that covers many walking on the Red carpet with her.

Stunning Zendaya Coleman a multiple award winning actress and singer, was at the Oscars. She is the heartthrob of many young men and dream daughter of many parents. Young Zendaya was listed as one of the most influential people in the world in 2022. She began her life in a fashion model before she joined Disney World in 2010. Her alma mater is Oakland School of the Arts.

Next is Gabrielle Union’s cute nose and pretty self on the red carpet . Gabrielle Union’s excellent and still turning heads. She holds a degree from the University of California. She gained attention in 1997 with, “Saved by The Bell.”

Finally, we celebrate Lupita Nyong’o. The dazzling Kenyan-Mexican ambassador making us all proud, like her other melanin sisters. Trained in Hampshire and Yale and citizen of Mexico, she began her career on Broadway in 2015.
