Victoria Monet is our first African queen in today’s series. Victoria is multitalented. She joined the entertainment world on the set of Victorious on Nickelodeon. She is a talented songwriter who has written many successful songs with her best friend Ariana Grande.

Also, Monet won three Grammies at a time and could not hold back joyful tears. Do you know that her songwriting breakthrough came when she was twenty-one? It was with the “Dirty money “ lyrics. After that, she wrote successful songs for Kendrick Lamar, T.I., Nas, to mention a few.

Victoria’s daughter who is now three, Hazel became the youngest person ever to be nominated for a Grammy. Monet’s daughter was nominated with her for the track, “Hollywood” as she participated in it.

Belcalis Marlenis Cephus, AKA Cardi B is born of an African mother. She had her breakthrough from her fame on the Instagram social handle. She beat Lauryn Hill’s record to be the longest debut music on the chart.

Another Amazon, Monet Michael is a young entrepreneur. She became famous from posting about fashion , style and beauty on social media. Now she has millions of followers from all over the world who benefit from her tips and advice.

Our Lena Waith is an screen writer, producer and actress. Waitth is also a graduate of Columbia College . Her breakthrough came when she played in the series, Master of None.
