Anna Dibaba is one of and the youngest of the Dibaba beauties on the race track. They hail from Ethiopia, the land of the famous Queen of Sheba.

Anna was born on the 26th of October 1997, in Bekoji, Ethiopia. She had her older siblings to guide and inspire her. So, again we are not surprised that she is following in their footsteps. Ms Dibaba actually said in an interview that her sisters and family encouraged her.

Furthermore, she joined them in their practices and training to get to where she is today. And confessed that her favourite race is the 1500m race. The sisters are so good together that in the Cursa dels Nassos 5km race in Barcelona, Genzebe came first and she was a close, second. That was in December 2020.

Do you know these sisters are the first and only siblings in recorded history, to hold concurrent world records? We are talking about the whole, wide world!

Therefore, Anna is looking forward to the 2024 Olympics Games coming up in France, less than three months away. We wish her all the best wishes.
