FÁTIMA DIAME: SPAIN’S 60m CHAMPION

Long and triple jump champion and Olympian, Fátima Diame is a Spaniard champion born to Senegalese immigrants. By age 17, she became an indoor champion for Spain. Fátima specializes in 60m triple jump and long jump.

Though Diame made her professional debut in 2013 at seventeen, she won her first medal in 2015. Following it with a gold medal in Jesolo 2018. Fired up, Fátima won two medals in quick succession in her birth place, Spain and another at the championship in Peru.

Firing on, Diame won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics and another gold the following year at the Spanish championship in 2022. Even this year 2024, Fátima Diame won a medal in the Long jump event at World Athletics Championships in Glasgow.
