The ninth edition of Miss Eco International Pageant 2024 is in full swing. Sixty-five ladies are participating in this event. With Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia taking part for the very first time. The event is spread across the three cities of Egypt; namely- Fayoum, Cairo and Hurghada. It is on from 16th to 29th of April 2024.

MEI kicked off with arrival of the beauty queens in Cairo on the 16th of April 2024. Since then they have had the talent competition and Best Catwalk in Resort Wear competition. The ladies have also been to the interesting world heritage sites cities of Fayoum, Luxor, Cairo and of course Hurghada.

Why has Egypt the home of Miss Eco International decided to spread the event between three cities? To allow the queens enjoy and experience the one of the oldest and most mysterious countries in the world of course.

After the exciting events lined up for the ladies, the grand finale when the new queen will be crowned will come up on Sunday night of April 28th 2024. Miss Eco International 2023, Nguyen Thanh Ha will hand over and crown her successor.

African queens at this event are quite few. Only five melanin beauties to be exact. They are Reem Elneweshy from Egypt, Vivian Kosisochukwu from Nigeria, Rae Mangope from South Africa, Jessika Emrit from Trinidad and Tobago and Stephanie Pierre from Haiti. We embrace Kimary Da Silva of Canada.

Inspite of their sparse attendance, Haiti and Trinidad and Tobago made top seven of the talent show held yesterday the 22nd of April 2024 in Hurghada. Today the 23rd, the queens are visiting the beautiful city of Luxor. Best catwalk in Resort Wear title went to China.

Hopefully, melanin queens will do better at the other events. They are doing great so far.
