Argentina has taken beauty pageant to another level by crowning a sixty year old stunner, Alejandra Rodriguez as Miss Buenos Aires 2024.

This is the first time in the over seventy years of the existence of the prestigious Miss Universe Pageant this is happening. It has come in the wake of the new policies of the Miss universe organization which took effect last year.

The policies include the removal of age limitations, inclusion of married women and the admission of trans-genders into the contest.

Do you remember that two married women took part in last Miss Universe 2023/4? And two trans-genders from Netherlands and Portugal? Well, Miss Rodriguez has broken the age limitations in Buenos Aires this year. And in May, she will join contestants from other provinces for the national title.

The chosen Miss universe Argentina 2024 will go on to the international stage in Mexico on the 28th of September 2024. We are quite certain that this coming international pageant will be quite the jaw-dropping event of the century. For one, we expect more older contestants, more trans-genders, more married women and generally more excitement.

Ms Alejandra Rodriguez of Buenos Aires beat thirty-four other contestants to win the title on Tuesday the 23rd of April 2024. The other contestants at the event ranged between eighteen to seventy-three year olds. In fact Rodriguez’s first runner-up is seventy-three-year-old Iris Amelia Aliotto.

Well, Miss Universe Buenos Aires, Alejandra, is a divorced lawyer and journalist. She works as a consultant in a hospital. And she has worked there for thirty years. Alejandra credits work outs and healthy eating for her good looks. She further attributes her success in the pageant to being single and without a partner.

We wish Ms. Rodriguez success at the national pageant in May 2024. And we commend all the women above thirty-five, taking part in the pageant.
